From June 2018, new circular fan coil units have been introduced to the market providing architects and clients with a new aesthetic option to consider for their interiors. We particularly like the idea of using these new units in exposed services/industrial design interiors.

But what’s the benefit of having these units as exposed?

• Minimal appearance, negating the need for plenums, duct work, and grilles​
• Airflow from the unit aims to reduce air dumping/cold spots directly below the units​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whether exposed or not, there are also numerous design features that can be added to the units, such as:

• Company and logo on the front panel
• Integrated filters available​
• Controllable via remote control/touch screen or a smartphone device​
• Blend in to background or stand out feature​
• Decreased noise levels and 360 distribution airflow​
• Can be connected to refrigerant or chilled water systems​

Fan coils remain a very flexible system that adapts to the changing terrain and continue to provide one of the most effective air conditioning solutions available.

The resultant energy saving, whilst appearing small on an individual unit, becomes significant on large jobs.​
