KW PicKevin has spent, almost the last two years as a Partner at calfordseaden heading up a new M&E team working on new developments. This has been primarily in the London area, covering new build and refurbishments in the residential, hospital, and student accommodation sectors, with a focus on the private rented sector. Works include Project Verde, a commercial development in Victoria, Loughbrough Park, social Housing Phase 2 & 3 for the Guinness Trust, and leading a team of engineers to provide full design duties through RIBA stages for a 3500 unit phased project at the Aylesbury Regeneration Development.

Kevin is extremely keen to develop his present relationship in the housing, social housing and PRS and looks to provide support and offer advice within these sector with new and existing QuinnRoss clients. He continues to support and carry’s out an active involvement in the Urban Land Institution which has and continues to provide new technical, sustainable ideas within the industry.

Kevin’s most notable recent accomplishment has been overseeing the building services design and construction monitoring of the Olympic Park/East village and the construction monitoring of the Private Rented Sector 42 storey High rise development atthe Project Halo for Genesis Housing Association in Stratford.

He has also been responsible for the initial involvement with the award winning project “Clapham One” for the Cathedral Group (U+I) which included a Primary Care Trust (PCT) Day Surgery, a Day healthcare facility, a Library on the ground floor and residential apartments above.

The Genesis Housing Association flagship project Halo at 150 Stratford High Street, in which Kevin was required to oversee a £125M process to construct new PRS buildings incorporating a 42 storey residential tower, affordable apartments, live/work units, commercial spaces and an underground car park. Works were undertaken as part of a Design and Build Contract with Ardmore Construction.

During 2007 when working at Hilson Moran, Kevin was made lead responsible of three project teams from two offices to provide MEP services for the East Olympic Village. This included the delivery of four mansion apartment buildings (N15, N10, N07, N14.) covering works for the services elements and building infrastructure. The design also allowed for the future provision for legacy fit out which was captured during the design development period.

Kevin remained responsible through the duration of the project with the delivery of the projects with financial control, time management, quality assessments, sustainability compliance and attendance to various meetings with the client’s professional teams.

During the retrofit contract, Kevin included additional duties for the retrofit works to include Buildings named, N15, N07, N14, N11 the Academy and N12 the Polyclinic. Total contract value for all phases £220M.

East Village ‘development of the year’ at the 2014 RESI Awards

Two awards at The London Planning Awards were presented by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson to East Village, the new neighbourhood at the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village. The awards were Best New Place to Live and the Mayor’s Award for Planning Excellence.
